    WordPress is cool, and it does feel like blogger on steroids. But I would say that it requires *minimal* knowledge of programming. Some knowledge is good.

    My ISP has an feature called “Fantastico” which automates the installation of WP, so it is very easy. Of course if you want to use additional templates or plugins you at least need to know how to upload files. But if you have your own server you hopefully know how to do that.

    Of course knowledge is good, and if you know a little about programming then you can design your own templates.
