Presbyterians clear the way for gay clergy

The Presbyterian Church USA has voted to remove from their constitution a statement that requires clergy to live “in fidelity within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, or chastity in singleness.”   The reason for this change, as the headline makes clear, is to clear the way for gay clergy.  It is a sad day for Presbyterians who hold a biblical view of marriage.
