Here is an interesting discussion by two New Testament scholars on the question of the role of women in the church based on 1 Tim. 2:9-15. This discussion is notable because it is a brief dialogue between two respected NT scholars on opposite sides of the complementarian/egalitarian debate. I think that they do a good job of getting past the rhetoric and discussing the substantive issues with an attitude of respect. I’m glad that there are some seminary professors who blog!
